“I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.”

Tagore

The Service journey explores how we relate to the bigger picture. Here we feel how our personal truth can contribute and expand most into the world beyond ourselves.

Here we fan the flames of inner calling, however subtle and cultivate a stronger higher self . This process involves letting go of assumptions about what life should look like, what we should look like, and what achievement looks like.

Mahatma Gandhi identified this exchange of the inherited self for the awakened self in his famous line “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”

In this release of ego identity we find something greater and more satisfying: the expansion of a higher calling, the realization of a life path,  and the peace and nobility that we feel while serving others.
